Diego Di Angelo is a recording artist and vocalist working in dark R&B: cinematic, emotionally charged records with a vocal presence built for the studio and the stage.
His writing leans on restraint. The songs are deliberate rather than crowded, built around a lead vocal that carries the weight instead of hiding behind arrangement. That approach shows up in the way he records: full takes over punched-in phrases, and performances that keep the imperfection when the imperfection is the point.
He is based in Ocala and records at DJ Studio 37 on the coast, and takes features, toplines, and full releases from artists anywhere, in the room or over files.
